Please Comfort, Encourage, and Love Me
Love Yourself First, Then Love Others
These days, it seems that more and more people are struggling. Some are emotionally exhausted, while others are burdened by financial difficulties. When we meet people who are going through hard times, we should offer them comfort, kindness, and love.
There are also moments when we ourselves become tired, discouraged, and overwhelmed. At times like these, the first person who can truly comfort us is ourselves. When we learn to love and encourage ourselves, we gain the strength to extend that same love and encouragement to others.
To overcome difficult seasons in life, we need hope and determination in our hearts. We should speak gentle and comforting words to ourselves, such as, “It’s okay. Things like this can happen.” or “Life sometimes brings difficult moments, but I will get through them.” These simple words can become a source of peace and renewed strength.
Loving yourself is not selfish—it is precious and necessary. When you know that you are worthy of love, your heart becomes filled with joy, peace, and hope. From that place of inner strength, you can look around and notice those who are struggling. You can then encourage them, comfort them, care for them, and show them that they, too, are worthy of love.
When love begins within us, it naturally spreads to the people around us. A single act of encouragement can become the beginning of hope in someone else’s life.
